Parenting Story: How to Persuade Your Children To Wear…

China will implement a state strategy and significant policies in active response to population aging in 2021. China has officially further relaxed its family planning policy, supporting couples that wish to have a third child. This was decided at a meeting of the Political Bureau of Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee held on May 31st. Thus, improve China’s population structure, actively respond to the aging population, and preserve its human resource advantages by further optimizing the childbirth policy and implementing the policy to allow couples to have three children with supportive measures will help.

Why is there such a large supply of second-hand clothes in China

China is the world’s most populous country. With the release of three children, many used children’s clothing will appear in China. The market is complementing each other as there are a large number of children in Africa. Based on such conditions, the used clothing trade may become particularly attractive. So, it is tricky for parents who buy “used clothing” to persuade their babies to wear “used clothes” and establish environmental and economic virtues. Here is a short story and show parents how to solve this problem. Hoping this is helpful to everyone.

The story is about:

My son and daughter are lively and active. They don’t want to rest for even one moment. The clean clothes you just put on will soon become dirty. Basically, you have to wash them every day. My wife and I repeatedly remind them: “Try not to stain your clothes when playing. Otherwise, we have to wash your clothes every day. This is a waste of water and tough work.” But the children always forget when playing.

One afternoon after school, I put second-hand clothes on my daughter and son before taking them to pick weeds in the orchard. At that time, my daughter complained dissatisfiedly: “We want to wear new clothes, that new set bought a few days ago. These clothes are a bit old. We don’t like them.” My son also echoed when he heard: “Yes, we want to wear new clothes!” Actually, these clothes have been worn by my daughter and son for less than a year. They basically have no difference with new clothes. I asked: “Why don’t you like these clothes?” My daughter and son surprised me by answering, “Because we look good in new clothes.”.

Wearing “used clothes”

After hearing the advantages of wearing old clothes, the children were persuaded. They immediately wore old clothes and followed me to the orchard. When we were working, my daughter and son played under the trees in the orchard. They built houses for frogs with branches, built roads for snails with a shovel, dug a small hole in the ground as a pot, used weed leaves as vegetables to pretend cooking, etc. That day, my daughter and son had a great time.

What are we wearing today? New clothes or old ones

After getting up the following morning, my daughter and son asked my wife and me: “What are we wearing today? New clothes or old ones?”

The wife told the children: “You can wear new clothes as well as old clothes. The key point is to keep the clothes neat and clean. You are going to school and study with your classmates. Dress neatly is respect for teachers and classmates. Otherwise, your classmates will laugh at you.”

Later, my daughter and son learned to wear different clothes on different occasions. They no longer need our supervision. They can choose and wear by themselves. Wear new clothes or clean old clothes when going to school or as a guest. Children learn that being neat and tidy is a kind of respect for others. When playing games, they can put on old clothes. Thus, children can understand when they need to pay attention to their appearance. They can establish the values of diligence, thrift, and simplicity.

Many adults like to wear new clothes, not to mention children. It is common for children to want to wear new clothes. As long as parents give appropriate guidance, children develop correct living habits.
